ROUTE DE LA SOIE
Restaurant offering contemporary Japanese cuisine made with high quality products.
Jacques Loc Tran, already well known for his famous East Extreme Bayard Restaurant and as the forerunner of sushi-bars in the 1980 s in Paris, is returning the cover to Trocadéro but is not alone. He joined a charming young woman, Wang Fei, who plays the role of house leader. A sober decor, frills to discover chef Kunio Kitadokoro's kitchen, a former Du. It is a contemporary Japanese cuisine with flavors and sometimes surprising and unexpected flavours. The meal begins with a dengaku dengaku, a nachos eggplant of sweet miso. As has been said: surprising but not unpleasant. We continue with one of the specialties: black cod. It is a grilled cod marinated in miso sauce. Very good. Finally for dessert it will be a brûlée cream with matcha. Classic. All products are of high quality: Beef is certified Waguy, the chicken is a farmer, Scottish salmon is red label. It's a bit expensive, but it's deserved.
