Small and cosy restaurant where you can enjoy a pizza made with good Italian products and with two types of flour.
If you like Sicily and if you are nostalgic about this splendid Italian island, after having spent superb holidays there for example, there's nothing better than enjoying the Sicilian gastronomy! We have unearthed your "Proust's pizza" made in Sicily and you can find it at the 16th arrondissement, in this small welcoming restaurant baptized Non Solo pizze which sweetly smells Italy. Giuseppe Messina, the owner, is not new in the trade. This Sicilian from Cefalu fell in the pot, or rather into the pizza dough at his young age. Son of a restaurateur, Giuseppe settled down in France to open his own establishments, starting from Montreuil. Then, with his Ignazio brother, they launched out in the 12th with Amis de Messina. Next, at the 16th arrondissement, rue du Ranelagh at Non Solo Cucina. And his last restaurant is Non Solo Pizze. As a lover of pizze, like any good Italian, Messina decided to create a place where guests can taste a pizza prepared by authentic pizzaiolos. The dough is thus prepared by the chefs themselves with two types of flours and rests between 36h and 48h before being put in the true special Italian pizza oven. All the suggestions are made with quality Italian ingredients and prepared with accuracy. He proposes authentic classical Italian pizzas as you find on his island like la Siciliana containing tomatoes, mozzarella, anchovy, caper blossom, black olives and oregano. And as we already tasted it, note that it is a treat! Some pizze are more creative like La Gustosa Rosa with tomatoes, fresh basil, homemade Sicilian sausages with fennel, thinly sliced fresh mushrooms, mozzarella de bufala and Parmesan chips refined during 24 months. The desserts are also mouthwatering: the tiramisu della Casa and the homemade ice-cream "with delicious aroma of your childhood" will delight all gourmet people!
