Restaurant of Parisian palace offering a kitchen resulting from French products.
Arc is dead, long live Victoria 1836. The decoration in Parisian palace restaurant style is signed Sarah Lavoine. The place was enlarged, raised ceilings to bring a new dimension to the room. On the ground a geometric carpet, wood paneling on the walls, large mirrors, and velvet seats for a refined and timeless atmosphere. Alexandre Auger, second chef of Yannick Alleno at Meurice, is in charge of the kitchen. His inspiration comes primarily from French product that opens to flavours from everywhere: tataki of red tuna, mayonnaise with honey and wasabi, king prawns sautéed with shishimi spices, soba noodles and finally kalamansi lemon tart, meringue acidulée. This young chef, butcher's son, pays particular attention to the meat that he serves. On the carte many selection of pieces of beef (shank, tab, fillet, rib or steak entrecote) but also veal chops or lamb chops. Le Victoria also offers breakfasts, becomes a tea room in the afternoon and opens its bar throughout the day. In fact why 1836? This is simply the date on which the first stone of the Arc De Triomphe was laid.

Le personnel est agréable.
Les cocktails sont excellents. Quant à la cuisine, c'est tout à fait commun (rien d'extraordinaire) et malheureusement pas vraiment de saison (une salade grecque en février...).
