CRAVAN
Bar-café in Paris offering a few dishes/desserts at lunchtime, vegetables and well-crafted nibbles.
At the foot of an Art Nouveau building designed by Hector Guimard, this Cravan (name of Oscar Wilde's nephew) is charming. To entice the wise clientele of the 16th arrondissement, this cocktail bar-café releases a burst of perfectly mastered cocktails. Like this Tunnel, a reinterpretation of negroni (gin, dry & sweet vermouth, campari) or this sparkling French 75 (gin, absinthe, champagne). At lunchtime, they come with a few dishes/desserts – lobster roll, vegetable roast, Eton mess, chocolate mousse… –, or nice snacks – impeccable roasted eggplants, Caesar salad, tuna asparagus-bresaola… A charming characterful bar, with a patina decor, opened in the morning for a homemade coffee.
