This "cantine du 16e", whose formula has made its reputation, still has this brightened bistro decor and its set of old advertisements. To maintain the spirit, the welcome is very nice, the atmosphere is friendly, sometimes a little bit noisy, and the service is warm. The suggestions change according to the seasons and the Chef's desires, but always with a constant: the cuisine is very simple but impeccably prepared. The eyes sparkle and the stomach is well-fed. It is difficult to get bored, especially as the quality never decreases. As a starter: pan-fried oyster mushrooms with cream, herring fillets or lamb's lettuce with two beets. As for the main course, you can find, among others, lamb navarin, veal kidneys, skate wings with caper. Still classical but very good with duck breast with orange accompanied with its celery puree. And, to perfectly finish, the choice of desserts is also very appetizing, between the Mont Blanc, the chocolate fondant and the creme brulee with Bourbon vanilla, you do not know which greed to enjoy. Ideal for family meals.
