Small restaurant serving fish, meat, fusion cuisine from France and elsewhere, delicacies.

In a cosy and design setting, this small restaurant where it makes good cause and refaire the world, hence its name, is a real culinary treasure nestled in a quiet street of the 16 th arrondissement in Paris. Opened for almost 2 years, the Gazette has its owners François Moussié (former Mathis and Hotel Costes), whose grandfather was already a talented conservator in Paris, and Hussein Salami, another pro of the profession that brings to the place a pleasant touch with his art of the good word. Lighting light, lounge music gentle enough to make it forget when it is necessary, you suddenly come to table, where it may miss a tablecloth to do more chic. But it is a quick detail eclipsed when arriving the original flavours. " White asparagus from the Landes to Dutch sauce "is far from being dull and just enough to appreciate the taste," bream de to the yuzu jelly "is slightly sweet but perfectly crisp, and homemade gras house on the bottom in mouth. On the flat side, our heart goes to "the lamb épaule rolled to the fruits of the beggar, accompanied by his potato muslin", a recipe that transports you to North Africa because the lamb is as tender and perfumed as in a good stew but the presentation, more sophisticated, actually a separate dish. Iberian cooking fans, without hesitation, crack for the fleeced sauce and its polenta. The chef, so creative, who prepares this fusion kitchen, coming from France and elsewhere, is Julien Gatineau (Cyril Lignac school), who has made his arms in the Argent Tower. You can even watch him work (and even greet him in passing, he will enjoy!) thanks to the open kitchen that gives quietly on the room. To finish on a small softness, pavlova with fresh red fruits and pistaches should soothe your appetite. Until the next time in the Gazette, in any case, because it is very much to bet that you want to return… Like us!
