Another new luxury hotel in the capital, opened by The Peninsula Hotels a few steps away from the champs elysées. The haussmannian building of 19th Century is steeped in history. It housed Hôtel Majestic where George Gershwin made up in 1928 Un Américain à Paris, and the peace agreements which made the end of the war of the vietnam had been signed in the lounge in 1973 which is the Bar Kléber today. It was completely restored. The damaged or faded original features have been recreated and the hotel found its original beauty shape of 1908. 20 stonemasons have work on the façade and specialists in gilding, ceramics, wood panelling and others also participated in the restoration. The interior was reconfigured and modernized while respecting the past. A magnificient handmade chandelier representing a cascade of 800 crystal is in the elegant lobby of the contemporary furnishings ... Artists also made the specific artworks to the project. The rooms are defined by new standards of design and luxurious then comfortable in tones of grey pearl . They are all equipped with high - technology: interactive shelves in 11 languages, wall screens LED... 5 suites with their gardens and private terraces with a magical view over Paris, 360° view for some. Finally, the hotel shines through six areas of restoration. The Lobby Kléber, the Terrace and its futuristic glass roof, Bar Kléber and Cigar Lounge allows you to enjoy french cuisine of reputation. The panoramic terrace of L'Oiseau Blanc offers a 360° view over Paris. The LiLi restaurant offers a traditional cantonese cuisine of exception.
