Hotel reflecting the French art of living with Parisian chic in the lobby and warm tones in the rooms.

The Hôtel du Bois was decorated by Michel Jouannet, an interior designer who focuses on French-style art: Beautiful fabrics, classic wooden furniture, chic closets, mirrors, warm tones for the rooms that are all served by a lift. The decoration is personalized with contemporary paintings above the bed heads. In the lobby, the colors are more lively, but the chic Parisian style remains. A beautiful hotel where you feel perfectly well.

Best avoided. Made me wait for an hour at reception then admitted the lack of a booking info was their fault. No apology, no explanation. Small, dated rooms. Will avoid at all costs in future and recommend any sane traveller do the same. There is much better to be had at the same price in Paris. Avoid.

Addendum. It was only in the light in the morning that I saw what appeared to be a dried blood stain on my pillow. Absolutely disgusting and unhygienic.

Great hotel! Good location, friendly and helpful staff, nice and quiet room despite big road outside, renovated bathroom and good cleaning. Breakfast is good in French standard. I will come back.
