MELIA CHAMPS-ÉLYSÉES * * * *
Hotel near the Champs-Élysées with smiling staff where the rooms with antique furniture are elegant.
Avenue Victor-Hugo is well known for its luxury shopping and it lives to the rhythm of shops. The Alexander hotel therefore occupies a privileged position in this neighbourhood of Paris, close to the Champs-Élysées but far enough from the bustle of the city. Nestled in a private mansion, it has kept a modern decor, both classic and opulent. Light oak wood panelling, old prints and even a fireplace which warms up the atmosphere in the lounge, which also serves as a library. The rooms are elegant with their antique furniture which is sometimes made of mahogany and smooth fabrics. The staff is very attentive and friendly.

The room is a bit dated and could do with a refresh. the bed was a bit bouncy and firm for my liking.
The toilet is right in front of a wall, which is tight for a tall person like me. The bathroom needs a refresh as the bathtub has some marks, and water pressure needs to improve, especially when washing your hair.
Thanks to all the Meliá team for being so kind and a special mention to Bruna, who was very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable during our stay.
