HÔTEL NICOLO * *
Charming hotel with a flowered courtyard offering large rooms and a breakfast with fresh products.
This is really what we call a charming hotel. The atmosphere is that of a city house with a beautiful flowered courtyard, well in calm. We are, however, just a few feet away from the bustling Rue de Passy… Behind these walls, the history of the former owner, a certain Nicolas Isouard, says Nicolo, a musician, a composer of French comic opera and a little fallen into oblivion. Furniture, paintings, mirrors, everything seems to have been laid there forever. The rooms spread over six floors (lift at mid-level) are relatively large and the old screens which serve as the bed head are of the greatest effect. Breakfast is prepared based on fresh products purchased directly to Rungis's shops or home-made preparations such as fresh fruit cuts or cakes. When weather permits, you can settle in a beautiful indoor garden for outdoor lunch in a bucolic setting surrounded by plants and colourful flowers.
