HÔTEL SQUARE * * * * *
The hotel combines comfort and refinement with bright and spacious rooms with a contemporary decor.
There is the Zebra Square Restaurant and the Square Hotel Square, just opposite the Maison de la Radio. Patrick Derderian, a passionate designer, built with architect Roger Taillebert a building in the spirit of a sculpture. The hotel is a suite of refinement and comfort where the space is privileged. The rooms, even the most classic, are bright and spacious with 24 m 2. Their contemporary decor, very elegant, was made with beautiful materials such as bois, leather and bronze. Carrara Marble Bathroom is equipped with a large bath or shower with relaxing jets. The establishment offers thematic escapades: Romance Getaway, Special Birthday or Weekend in Town.

Had 2 rooms for a family trip because of aforementioned 5-star rating and the area to things we wanted to visit. The location is probably the only decent thing about the place and maybe the restaurant inside.
Decor is very dated and dark. I'm not dinging the place for that because it's a very intentional style choice, but just be aware.
Bathroom sink has a strange design where the water pools in the corner of the sink and doesn't drain.
The biggest problem is that the rooms are FILTHY. Room had had carpets that were filled with stains. Pillow cases and sheets had small dark stains. But the absolute worst thing is that the "fresh" towels/robe had this massive brown stain that looked like dried blood or something. One of my family members also tried to hang their pants on one of the hangers and some chemical (?) on the hanger transferred to the pants and absolutely ruined them.
I was livid, but since this was booked by a family member I had to temper my complaints to management. I have never experienced this in any hotel in any city, let alone one that claims itself "5 star".
For reference, we stayed at Maison-Albar and Park Hyatt Vendome in the same stay and they were light years ahead. I obviously can't claim this experience for everyone, but stay at your own risk.
