Lyon industrialist Emile Guimet (1836-1918) brought back priceless treasures from his travels and had this museum built in Paris in 1889. From room to room, you'll discover Central Asia, the Greco-Bactrian Buddhist kingdom, the Indus Valley, the Nepalese and Tibetan Himalayas, Indochina and the Kingdom of Siam, the Middle Kingdom, the Korean Peninsula, Japan... A state-of-the-art auditorium is also available, as well as a splendid rooftop.

Le musée est bien structuré et c’est agréable de flâner à travers les différentes salles.
Gratuit -26 ans donc pour venir y passer 1-2h c’est le top, une culture très différente de la notre à visiter qui nous sort de notre quotidien. Pas besoin de réserver à l’avance.
