It was in 1827 that Bélissaire Boissier created this company which made sweets and more generally confectionery and iced chestnuts its specialities (the brilliant confectioner would even be the initiator of the manufacture of iced chestnuts). Throughout the 19th century, Boissier candies with multiple aromas, including the famous boules candies, were the delight of bourgeois and artistic Paris. Today, this house has regained its energy thanks to its takeover by the founders of the Salon du chocolat. High-end sweets, whatever their variety, and chocolates are always elegantly presented in charming boxes. An excellent idea for a refined gift!
