MAISON SUR PILOTIS
At the head of Maison sur Stilts, a woman: Isabelle Laverny, who then leaves great consumption marketing. And a desire: to bring escape into urban interior. With the name she gave to her store, she succeeds in making us dream at distant places: Mulaku Atoll, Maldives, Tonle Sap Lake in Cambodia… A boutique of art for living and a casual gallery of contemporary art joins, and proposes to awaken the share that dreams in us of surprise and escape. And beauty, whose meaning is never overlooked, is a point of honour here. The art of living does not include useful and malignant products: You will choose the bouillote, or the lunch box handy for a lunch on your thumb. You will love the hammer visualized so you don't lose your nails, or the philosophical workbook. We're the small, "sofa-de" piece of wooden and flannel furniture that keeps us. And the gallery side would be happy to make a cut in paper carving. An address to finally abandon standards, and change air!
