The REX is the device that the French Aeronautics federation has put in place to gather evidence of unfortunate experiences experienced in flight knowing any unusual situation in flight. Any pilot who has been scared in flight or who has expressed surprise or concern about an unusual situation related to the use of his aircraft is invited to report to the FFA. To do so, it can access the form provided for this purpose on the FFA website and inform this form, describing the situation it experienced as abnormal. This constitutes a significant return of experience for FFA, which may help to raise and detect weaknesses or shortcomings and to remedy it for the future: an excellent way to help improve flight security!
