A unique menu that has never changed to be tasted in a great restaurant in Paris.

We often talk about unique menus, but the expression is not usurped here: the menu is unique and has never changed an iota since the rerun of this great corner restaurant in 1959 by Paul Gineste de Saurs, namely salad and steak-fried. You just give desired cooking, it is difficult to make simpler. So, how to explain the long queue in front of the entrance inevitably to each service? By the quality of the meat and French fries (calibrated to the last millimetre!) undoubtedly, but especially by the completely original flavour of the sauce which accompanies them. Held as a secret for a long time, the composition of this sauce is now known, at least for its main ingredients: chiken liver, fresh thyme, flower of theme, whipping cream, white mustard, butter, salt and pepper. An institution that should be visited at least once.

Le lieu est magnifique, le personnel est non seulement très agréable mais à beaucoup de classe.
Le repas débute par 1 Salade, puis vient la viande fondante et les Frites croustillantes.....la sauce est délicieuse.
Tout le service est impeccable.
Pour le dessert tarte noix caramel et les fameuses profiteroles.
1er hic, le service est rapide et il faut assez vite céder sa place pour les suivants
2ème hic il faut arriver tôt pour éviter faire la queue.
Le 2ème étage est moins bruyant.
C'est un très bel endroit et le repas est vraiment bon.
A tester absolument !

We queued for abt 20 mins. Service staffs are very efficient. The restaurant is quite noisy. For people who has decision issue. head for this place but you need to be a meat lover. Worth going.

We heard a lot about this restaurant before coming to Paris, so we decided to try it out. We arrived around 12pm, thus thankfully there was no line. The food was okay; the meat was good as the fries, but the sauce that was placed in top of the meat was not of my liking, it had a strong taste of mustard, thus it kind of destroyed the taste of the meat for me. Another downside was that the tables were really near each other, so much so that the person seated at my side ended up spilling my whole bottle of coke on me, while he was trying to stand up from its sit.

Really good food, and great service. The servers are nice and paying attention to you, even tough it was packed when we arrived.
