Located in Paris, Restaurant Janine is both gastronomic and original, offering successful dishes at justifiable prices.

A new destiny in 2023 for this restaurant which, under the friendly name of Janine, was taken over by Thibault Sizun, who had the good idea of giving Soda Thiam free rein in the kitchen. Here, the right balance has been struck between gastronomic standards and originality. The deep-fried rack of veal-black rice-gyoza with black garlic sauce is a success. At lunchtime, a menu limits the bill that can quickly escalate à la carte. Cosy decor, with antiques upstairs. Reservations are highly recommended, as the neighborhood's "fines gueules" really appreciate this bistro.

Expérience parfaite chez Janine ! Salon privé à l’étage, entrées et plats exceptionnels, service au top. Nous avons passé une merveilleuse soirée, mille mercis à toute l’équipe ! (Mention spéciale pour le quasi de veau et le chou farci)

Très décevant. Menu qui n'est pas celui affiché dehors. Cuisine chère et quelconque, portions limites, prix trop élevés pour la qualité, service précipité. Je ne comprends pas l'engouement pour ce lieu... il y a bien mieux dans le quartier.

Nous avons pris un Portobello et une pêche du jour en plat, ainsi qu'un biscuit cacahuètes et un crumble aux agrumes en dessert. Nous avons tout trouvé très bon et avons regretté que les quantités ne soient pas plus généreuses. Avec une bouteille de chenin nous en avons eu pour 137€ à deux. A noter que la salle est plutôt bruyante. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le service.

Yes ! We ate here twice during our week in Paris. Pate en croute, sardine salad, cabbage stuffed with pork, paris brest. All were DELICIOUS. Everything was cooked perfectly and with an obvious amount of love, passion and talent. The waitstaff are fun, the owner is a delight and obviously cares about happiness of both his team and customers. 10/10 !

J’ai bien aimé la tartelette de panais aux champignons, plus de champignons que de panais. Excellent pâté en croûte
En revanche le chou farci m’a déçue : trop de graines de moutarde, cuisson insuffisante du chou et farce un peu sèche. On attend plus de gourmandise. Cartedes vins qui monte vite dans les tours, cadre très sonore. De l’ambition, de jolies assiettes mais un manque d’équilibre. Du potentiel à optimiser.
