LE PETIT VERDOT
Address with a bistro and rustic setting and friendly service offering gourmet cuisine and a selection of wines.
Le Petit Verdot (not to be confused with its namesake of the 6th district) is livened up by Vincent Chaudoreille (in the room) and Guillaume Huteau (in the kitchen), both elders of the Atelier Robuchon Saint-Germain. Here, the cuisine is in the image of the setting, bistro as hell, rustic, family and above all, extremely gourmet. Bed of lentil, veal back steak with potatoes and wild mushrooms, basquaise chicken with its apples mashed with a fork, black pork chop from Bigorre, veal cutlet or cod steak: the choice is made on a concise and effective menu, displayed in several places of the room. Fine selection of wines from Beaujolais and Loire. Customers partly regulars, very friendly service and almost indispensable reservation, except for the bar.
