A meeting place for cinephiles in north-western Paris, Cinéma des Cinéastes is one of the best in Paris. The range of films on offer includes classics, new releases, previews and programs for young children. Upstairs, a pleasant bar-restaurant. Abandoned after 1945, the cinema was revived during the Nouvelle Vague. But it was not until 1987, thanks to Claude Berri and the Société civile des Auteurs, Réalisateurs et Producteurs (ARP), that the establishment became a must-see for all film buffs in northern Paris.
