KUSMI TEA
An official supplier of stars, Pavel Michailovitch Kousmochoff fled the Russian Revolution and settled in Paris in 1917. Today, we are far from the traditional house of English-style comptoir teas. The decoration is very contemporary with materials like Plexiglas and colors that "preening": red, green, white and orange. Approximately varieties of teas identified by different colour labels from different origins adorn the shelves. Among the teas in Ceylon, China, India, or Russia combining fragrant mixtures, one of the best sellers: Prince Wladimir, these are Chinese teas married to natural essences of citrus, vanilla and spices. Kusmi-Tea's pretty boxes are recognizable among thousands, with colourful, clean, and promising tones. The shop near the Place Vendôme is a small Art Deco setting with a glass ceiling and floral motifs dating from the arrival in France of Kousmichoff.
