Parisian address offering smoked fish, shrimp and clam platters in an outstanding setting.
When Norman seafood meets the best of restaurants in Paris, this is Bulot Bulot. The place, which looks like a very chic fisherman's cabin, is the fruit of the imagination of Etienne Ryckeboer, an enthusiast, who owns many Cotentin oyster parks. And they are many productions from Blainville, Gouville or Utah-Beach! With smoked fish boards, shrimp and other clams, here you have a nice place to discover all the wonders of the sea in an unparalleled setting. But not only: The cocktail menu is excellent.

My friend and I sat at the bar for dinner and ordered oysters, scallops, and the roll with shrimp and scallops. Immediately we could tell the servers were overwhelmed as they rushed back and forth from the indoor to outdoor area, constantly brushing past our backs since it’s a small place.
It took ages before someone took our order and over an hour and a half to get our food, which we expected to have eaten and left by then since we had other plans afterwards.
As we were eating, a waiter quickly grabbed something from the shelf above us and a wine glass shattered all over the table in front of us. The glass fell all over our body, the remainder of our food and really scared us. Thankfully it did not go into our face or eyes, but it could have if we were bent forward on the table eating.
The waiters were apologetic, but this type of accident could’ve really hurt someone. I cut my finger as I picked up my purse because there was glass on it. We left right away and they didn’t make us pay for the partially eaten meal.
The food was good, so it was a shame we couldn’t properly enjoy it. I think the management here really needs to better plan for the number of wait staff they have working or limit the amount of customers they accept if they couldn’t properly tend to them.
I understand this was a mistake but dining here was so stressful having to see people rush around constantly and almost injuring us. Wouldn’t recommend this place for dining in.
