Brasserie with a terrace in Paris preparing a citrus salad, meats, and grilled sardines.
In the space of just ten years, the Barbès brasserie has become a local landmark. The reasons? First and foremost, the cuisine: a citrus salad with cranberries, arugula, fresh mint, ewe's cheese and pistachio, grilled sardines with garlic and parsley spaghetti, or a prime rib steak come to mind. There is a dance hall on the second floor, which can be reserved for private customers. Playing on the absence of a brasserie worthy of the name in the vicinity, prices are nevertheless a little high.

Arrived for breakfast at 10:30. I wait to be seated in a mostly empty room. The waiter says, chose your table. I do so. He asks, are you here for breakfast? I say yes.
The other waitress that was chatting about and couldn't be bothered then forced me to move from a table for 3 to a dirty table for 2. Great!
10 minutes later I am informed that they are not serving breakfast anymore. A joke!
Cherry on the top: as I leave there are staff enjoying their breakfast. You couldn't make this up!
Restaurant bistronomique qui vaut le coup!
Je recommande!
