The origins of the FUAJ date back to the end of the century. Launched in Germany in the form of youth hostels, FUAJ now devotes itself to all forms of activities for those under 30 years of age and has developed a large pension network in France. FUAJ, while remaining the first French link of the International Youth Hostel Network (IYHF), organizes youth workshops throughout France.
