This is what we call a neighbourhood bookstore, a real one. The two young women who run it are eager to discover a wide range of books, read them, and then recommend them to their customers. They carefully select each one and arrange them on the shelves only if they are interested in the book. They can lean towards commercial - but good - books rather than more niche novels. They do not impose anything, but they are knowledgeable about the books, and their recommendations are often very accurate. After that, it's up to everyone to decide based on their current desires.
