THÉÂTRE DES 2 ANES
Several cabarets came here at the beginning of the th century. In 1910, the Sow was inaugurated. Due to lack of success, the Rouet was released to the Spider who was not lucky. Finally, the porcupine came and welcomed cabaret quills such as Saint-Granier, Pierre Dac, Gabaroche… Other changes at the head of the house then had new designations: L'Epatant, then Les Crooks. In 1922, Roger Ferréol and André Dahl took over the hall and sought a way to get spectators to come. One day they discuss and do not find anything, they turn their abatement into a humour exercise: " We are two donkeys! ", they will say. Hence the name of the theatre. Since then, new generations of cabaret artists have succeeded this stage today led by Jacques Mailhot. The principle remained the same: piss the political world. " Good barracking and let laughs "is their motto.
