Since 1935, the Butte Montmartre has been the scene of a 5-day festival to celebrate the annual grape harvest from a small plot on the northern slope. For the occasion, wine brotherhoods, Montmartre associations and the commune of Montmartre come together in a folk parade. The popular celebration continues with a grand musical evening, and an ephemeral market where the various stalls attract tourists, onlookers and thousands of curious onlookers. The annual cuvée is named after a celebrity, and vineyard tours and walks are also offered.
