Located in the 18 th district of the capital, the association of the 3 Drums, Association Association 1901, founded in 1992 by two professional musicians, Louise and Patrick Marty, offers courses for children from 5 years old - large maternal section. For 45 minutes, every week, children discover, within small groups of eight children, how all the instruments work, they try them, they are drawn up… Children are approached by gesture and listening, singing and rhythm. This work is shown in concert twice a year. The association is proud to welcome more disadvantaged children and to be able to integrate them into its musical projects (concerts, animations, travel, recordings…). It tries to promote the discovery of various music, through outings in museums (Carnavalet Museum), conference, rehearsals of orchestras, concerts (Théâtre des Champs-Élysées) and meetings with professional musicians.
