The cemetery is home to many famous names, including Stendhal, Théophile Gautier, Alfred de Vigny, Berlioz, and Dalida...

Less crowded than its counterparts in Montparnasse or Père Lachaise, this cemetery makes for a pleasant stroll. Opened in the early 19th century on the site of a former plaster quarry, this cemetery covers almost 11 hectares. In the shade of chestnut, maple, lime, and cedar trees lie Stendhal, Théophile Gautier, Alfred de Vigny, Berlioz, Offenbach, Sacha Guitry, Michel Berger and France Gall, Dalida, François Truffaut, Henri-Georges Clouzot...

Sepolture famose e un'atmosfera gotica impagabile.

Molte cornacchie.

If you’re into this sort of thing, this cemetery really is beautiful. I spent some important hours of my life here while I waited for some friends.
