The Green House, rue Marcadet, welcomes the members of the Independent. The co-op proposes a more environmentally friendly and equitable alternative to the large distribution system. Local producers are favoured, which minimizes the pollution generated by their transport; fair products from organic farming are privileged and the cooperative deals directly with producers, thereby avoiding the incremental costs of intermediaries. Pasta, cereals, oil, tea, jams, flour, soap, are priced more affordable than in large areas or in specialized stores to make them accessible to the greatest number. To have access to the ccopérative, the members choose to pay between 2 € and 10 € monthly contribution.
