North African restaurant in Paris serving a menu of tagines, couscous, grilled meats, house specialties.
The decor is opulent in this restaurant of North African tradition. Sheltered from view by ornate metal decorations, the tables feature inlaid tops and the chairs are enhanced with old-fashioned nailing. On the menu, the ten tajines and the dozen couscous reveal the abundance and delicacy of a cuisine that honours grilled meats, vegetables and simmered fruits with sweet spices. A speciality of the house, the lamb tagine flambéed with boukha is a temptation that we will not resist. Another tasty and invigorating suggestion, mechoui couscous includes lamb shoulder roasted for a long time in the oven. To eat more lightly, we will turn to grilled sardines with garlic, chicken pastilla, or briks that exist with goat, in addition to the egg or tuna versions. You will have understood, nothing is missing here!
