Bistro with terrace offering daily specials at a good price-quality ratio

Looking for a bistro away from the tourists after a sunny stroll through the picturesque alleys of Mouzaïa? Then you can sit at the Danube terrace, on the quiet Rhine-and-Danube square. The staff is friendly and the food is not too bad, without aiming at gastronomic heights. On the Saturday of our visit, the list of dishes of the day included creamy penne with mussels and a hearty roasted Camembert. Otherwise, tartars, burgers and other salads were on the menu. Beautiful 50's decor.

Visited in february 2024

Salade de bœuf thai inmangeable, viande trop froide limite glacée et dure, absolument pas tendre, impossible de la couper. J'ai vraiment essayé, aussi pour éviter le malaise quand on doit rendre l'assiette pleine. Je ne mets jamais de commentaires négatifs mais là, j'ai halluciné par le manque de compréhension, aucun échange, un réel foutisme! Sous prétexte que c'est un plat qui est en général apprécié d'après le personnel, celui-ci n'a pas daigné se remettre en question et n'a pas cru à la possibilité d'un loupé. L'éventualité d'un geste commercial de leur part n'a même pas été envisagé; par contre, on me propose de reprendre autre chose, qui sera facturé bien évidemment...Bref, voilà comment ne pas manger pour 16,50 euros!
