FÉDÉRATION DES CENTRES SOCIAUX ET SOCIOCULTURELS DE PARIS

The Fédération des centres sociaux et socioculturels de Paris believes that inequalities in access to digital technology stem from economic and social inequalities (generation gaps, economic and cultural disparities, isolation, etc.). In a society like ours, where digital technology is becoming increasingly important, the lack of homogeneity in the distribution of digital resources may accentuate them. The social centres consider that the fight to prevent this risk is part of their actions within their social project, in compliance with the National Net Public Charter - signed by the Federation. This is why the Federation supports a number of Digital Public Spaces (EPNs), places where digital awareness and training are provided. Each of them is equipped with the necessary equipment and trains you in word processing, Internet navigation, website creation, etc., free or very low-cost activities. You will find below, on the one hand, the EPNs run by the social centres and on the other hand the computer spaces subsidised by the City of Paris. The EPNs run and supported by the social centres are transversal computer spaces that are not labelled and therefore not subsidised.
