BAMBOO GARDEN OF THE PARC DE LA VILLETTE
The park is home to the most surprising garden, deliberately set in an inaccessible corner of Paris.
Hidden away in the Parc de la Villette is a most surprising garden, deliberately set in a corner that is not easily accessible, to emphasise its preciousness. You have to go near the Grande Halle, in the alley linking the Cité de la Musique to the Zénith, to find the entrance between two walls. You then enter a sound cylinder, created by Bernhard Leitner, which leads to this garden featuring some thirty species of bamboo. Very impressive!
