A large hall built around 1865-1867 to host major exhibitions, shows and music festivals in Paris.

Located at the southern entrance to the park, the Grande Halle, built in the 1860s, now hosts major exhibitions, shows, music festivals and many other events. Listed as a Historic Monument, it was first erected on Place de la République, then transferred to La Villette in 1867. It was the beating heart of Club France during the 2024 Olympic Games, welcoming tens of thousands of spectators every day.

J'y étais le week-end dernier (en janvier) pour « Le Salon d'automne 2023-24 ». Cet événement parisien se déroule traditionnellement à côté du Petit Palais. Exceptionnellement, cette année-ci, cette exposition est venue à la Villette. Contrairement aux tentes temporaires surchauffées et étriquées, l'Expo était mieux présentée dans la grande Halle de la Villette.
