With a name such as this one is expected to be a dusty pastry, especially as it was born 180 years ago, but it was rue de Shower. This is not exactly the case, although it has kept a bit old and the cakes remain in the range of classics of all kinds, including the Christmas log with butter cream and chocolate, coffee or praline. A few home inventions give a small identity such as the Old France cake, a nappée nappée of apples, grapes, nuts and cinnamon and Japanese pastries made only on weekends. In this corner of the 19 th that'boboise ', the clientele younger and queuing especially over the weekend to buy his little Sunday cake.
