The National Union Plomberie Plomberie is a professional organisation adhering to the French Building Federation (FFB). It covers a presence throughout the French territory through 104 local professional sections, specialized trade unions or trade union chambers, which have formed within the Departmental Federations members of the FFB. This national body consists of almost 10 000 companies, regardless of its size - about 90% of these enterprises have fewer than 20 employees - in plumbing and hedge trades and whose activity generates more than EUR 12 billion of turnover. The missions of UNCP are multiple: it is an expert for everything that affects its trades, it provides support to its businesses daily, it promotes the interests of its members in its actions, is represented in many committees and is actively involved in European standardisation, regulations in the fields of technology, safety, health and water quality, in occupational research, prevention and security in carrying out work and during interventions on existing facilities, corporate qualification and certification, training, technical development, sustainable development. The Union is attentive to the development and development of its trades, anticipating prospects in order to alert companies to the transformations they face. Furthermore, the Union represents the profession in the bodies concerned.
