Address in Paris proposing a kitchen of quality and well prepared dishes.

If you think the name - The Robe and the Palace - refers to lawyers, you are sadly mistaken. In this case, it refers to wine. You can't get enough of this bistro (or dining cellar) known for the quality of its cuisine and the richness of its cellar - over 800 references, it seems. So there is bound to be one that suits the dishes you choose. The dishes are well thought out and not lacking in originality: one June, for example, the onion purée accompanying a calf sweetbread apple was with verbena, and cucumber tagliatelle with roasted almonds accompanied a whiting. Très bon accueil et des plats très bons de l’entrée au dessert. Le choix des vins est également très bien ! Je recommande vivement !

L’emplacement de ce restaurant est assez agréable, avec la possibilité d’être en terrasse. L’accueil et le service sont dans les normes respectables. En revanche, les mets sont totalement médiocres , nullement dignes d’un lieu classifié de restaurant. Il n’est guère possible d’avoir une bouteille de vin qui est servi uniquement à 9€ le verre. C’est une arnaque car sa qualité gustative ne les justifie pas. 4 petits verres pour 2 personnes , soit 36€ , est le prix d’une bouteille d’un vin acceptable . La restauration ne s’improvise pas, elle ne doit être réservée qu’aux professionnels. Nous ne reviendrons pas.
