Restaurant bistro offering a cuisine with southern accents in Paris.
This bistro for oenophiles makes a mockery of backbiters. It is an Englishman, Mark Williamson, who is the owner and has just celebrated his 30 years of success. On this occasion, he transformed the room into a more luminous onewith cosy lounges. The wines are still the same and it is a good thing because we love them. Many Rhone wine, the owner's favourite, but also some treasures from other regions. To accompany the tasting, you should trust the chef, François Yon, who brilliantly concocts a cuisine with Southern accents. Eggplant rolls confit with smoked duck breast, Taggiascheolives with dry tomatoes, warm salad of purple artichokes and organic poached egg, range veal steak with lemon confit and ginger, fish stew in a minute take you directly to the sun. Before you head for the sweet, especially the chocolate terrine, try a cheese stop, by Marie Quatrehomme.
