This Belgian stylist has gone through fashion like a shooting star, in all discretion. No earn, no parades, no stars… Neither photo nor interview… A UFO in a world usually very show bizz and buzz. Martin Margiela founded his mark in 1988 with Jenny Meirens. Since then, he has been recognized by the greatest as a talented stylist. His creations play a structuré/broken, female/male, with obvious sobriety and elegance, and déclinent white cotton, black, beige and half-shade. It's graphic, net and accurate. And to match MM dress, the house's jewels, original and very class, are all indicated. Unfortunately for your credit card, shoes too! For info, the house was bought in 2003 by the owner of the diesel mark and Martin Margiela left his post in 2009. But his soul always hangs over the collections… For further info: the shop is at No 25 on the street.
