MATHON PARIS

Founded in 1931, Mathon Paris creates and manufactures in its Parisian workshop its collection of exceptional jewellery, as well as order pieces. Its unique expertise in high-end jewellery has been recognized by the Entreprise du patrimoine vivant award since 2007.

History. This house of excellence was founded in 1931 by Roger Mathon. She was the privileged creator of the great Parisian houses from the following years. The Mathon family then became part of the history of jewellery creation over the generations.

Each year, it produces several thousand unique pieces and small series. The company offers its own line of jewellery, i.e. two collections per year. The company's products are manufactured from a collection of more than 10,000 moulds, models and drawings, preserved since the beginning.

Today, it is also one of the few jewellery workshops to keep its own design studio.

The products. Committed to French artistic and cultural values, Frédéric Mathon, the Chairman of the Management Board of Mathon Paris, now offers an atypical and colourful jewellery collection whose aesthetics testify to his taste for art and his passion for stones. The expert hands of its craftsmen bring to each piece the spark of life that gives it its unique and timeless character.

Faithful to the artisanal traditions of French jewellery, the company is committed to a responsible and ethical approach, as evidenced by the "Joaillerie de France" stamp affixed to each piece of jewellery.

Employment. About ten skilled workers work on the production of unit parts and small series. Prototyping, casting, crimping and engraving are carried out manually. The company also masters the complex technique of large fire enamelling. Benefiting from the "Joaillerie de France" label, Mathon works mainly as a subcontractor for major jewellers in Place Vendôme. Its products are available in France and abroad.
