The art and manner of the ridiculous: such is this "dinner in white", which was meant to be a meeting (admittedly without much interest) for insiders from nowhere, and which has turned into a vast picnic for people who consider themselves bankable enough to allow themselves to invade a public space and nibble on a few chips with a pout of vigour. If the place of this meeting is supposedly kept secret until the last moment, keeping many impatient people in suspense, in the meantime, everyone is getting ready in white (well, less and less) and will disembark, face heard, once the signal is given. To be seen from afar, but certainly not to be done.
