This seaside rendezvous has expanded northwards, and is now more fun than ever: it's Paris's summer must-see.
The beach in Paris? You bet! Since 2002, the capital has been looking a little likeSaint-Tropez, with its quays closed to traffic all summer long and landscaped with tons of sand along the banks of the Seine. For this Olympic year, the organisation is changing a little, and three distinct locations will be offered to residents: after the opening ceremony, the banks of the right bank will be open to activities, while the Bassin de la Villette and, for the first time, the Canal Saint-Martin, will also be the setting for these activities.
