Le Refuge Paris comes in response to a social problem encountered by many young people. It is aimed at people in distress and questioning their sexual orientation, and sometimes at people who have broken up with their families following a complex coming-out . Le Refuge is the only organization in France, approved by the State, to offer temporary accommodation and social and psychological support to young adults, boys and girls, who are victims of homophobia and in a situation of family breakdown.
