BIBLIOTHÈQUE DES ARTS DÉCORATIFS
Decorative Arts includes the Museum of Decorative Arts and its library. The museum contains thousands of pieces from the various fields of decorative and applied arts. When it was created in 1864, its mission was to inform and educate about knowledge in these fields and to preserve traces of fashions and innovations. Today, the library, which reopened to the public in February 2019, has more than 200,000 printed works. Books, catalogues, plans... they tell the story of decorative arts, design, graphic arts, architecture, art history, garden art, costume and fashion. An invaluable heritage fund and a place of reference.
