Visit a historic Conciergerie to discover vaulted medieval spaces such as the guards' and men-at-arms' rooms
Along with the Sainte-Chapelle, the Conciergerie is one of the main remains of the Palais de la Cité, where the kings of France lived for several centuries throughout the Middle Ages. During the French Revolution, the Conciergerie counted among its forced boarders personalities such as Queen Marie-Antoinette, whose reconstructed dungeon can be visited. Today, the Conciergerie is part of the Paris Courthouse, with its Bonbec, d'Argent, César and de l'Horloge towers. A must-see in the heart of the capital.

Opening time and information on CONCIERGERIE
Open all year round. Opening hours subject to change: daily, 9:30 am to 6 pm. Closed on January 1, May 1 and December 25. Last admission 30 minutes before closing time. Free admission for children under 18 (and disabled persons and accompanying adult, unemployed persons). Adults: €9 (concessions: €7). Groups (20 people): €7. Combined Conciergerie + Sainte-Chapelle ticket: €15. For groups, booking recommended at least 4 weeks in advance: [email protected]. Guided tours.

L'espace dédié à marie-Antoinette est émouvant.
L'ensemble du circuit manque peut-être un peu de points d'explication historique.
La visite permet de découvrir les cachots utilisés notamment pendant la Révolution. Une mèche de cheveux de Marie-Antoinette sont exposés.
J'ai loué les tablettes, la confrontation de l'Histoire et de la réalité, la chasse aux pièces d'or pour les enfants, le parcours.
Excellente visite et en plus, très instructive !
