An opportunity to discover the Musée de l'Orangerie, a wonderful place on the banks of the Seine, opposite the Place de la Concorde.

Built in the purest classical style, the Orangerie du Jardin des Tuileries was completed in 1852. A splendid museum, it houses one of Claude Monet's most famous works, the Water Lilies suite, as well as other pictures painted in his gardens at Giverny. Other masterpieces on display include the Jean Walter and Paul Guillaume collections. You can also contemplate several masterpieces by the great masters of modern painting: Derain, Laurencin, Matisse, Picasso, Cézanne... Numerous temporary exhibitions are also organized.

A museum of small but unmissable in Paris... The ground floor rooms with water lilies are simply sublime!
The Museum is really impressive. The paintings are really well development (especially by lighting which is extraordinary!). Although waiting to summer long...
