NELSON MANDELA GARDEN
The capital's most central garden, with large lawns, numerous pathways, an adventure playground, water jets and a large number of other attractions.
Named after Nelson Mandela, this vast garden is probably the most central in the capital, surrounded by the canopy of Les Halles, Saint-Eustache church, the Bourse du Commerce and Rue Berger. The long process of reconfiguring Les Halles has enabled the garden to emerge in a densely populated urban landscape, close to the church of Saint-Eustache and the Bourse du Commerce, now a centre for contemporary art. It features large lawns, numerous pathways, a children's playground, water fountains and sports areas.
