The beheading theater of the Revolution in Paris, designed from 1755 by Ange-Jacques Gabriel

The vast square served as a splendid backdrop for several events at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, bluffing the world with its beauty. And with good reason: the Place de la Concorde offers one of the finest panoramic views of the city of Paris: octagonal in shape, the space is bordered by the Seine, the Champs-Élysées and the Tuileries Gardens. The Jeu de Paume museum overlooks it, facing the Luxor obelisk. To the west are the Hôtel Crillon and the Hôtel de la Marine.

à voir!
place par laquelle il faut passer, pour l'obélisque bien sûr mais ausi car elle est prooche de nombreux centres d'intérêts de Paris, le Louvre, les Champs Elysées, le jardin des Tuileries..... Pour les courageux faire la ballade le long des quais entre la Tour Eiffel et Notre Dame de Paris est un must

Un air d'Egypte
Et dire que la soeur jumelle de l'obélisque se tient encore debout devant l'entrée du Temple à Louxor! Impressionnant cet objet millénaire en plein coeur de la capitale. Et que dire de la Fontaine? Majestueuse....
