The beheading theater of the Revolution in Paris, designed from 1755 by Ange-Jacques Gabriel
The vast square served as a splendid backdrop for several events at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, bluffing the world with its beauty. And with good reason: the Place de la Concorde offers one of the finest panoramic views of the city of Paris: octagonal in shape, the space is bordered by the Seine, the Champs-Élysées and the Tuileries Gardens. The Jeu de Paume museum overlooks it, facing the Luxor obelisk. To the west are the Hôtel Crillon and the Hôtel de la Marine.
