CANTINE SICILIENNE 19/29
Bistro in Paris offering Sicilian cuisine, chicken, fish and desserts.
In 1929 in this place, there was a bistro whose spirits remains behind the thick velvet curtains. Even though the room has become contemporary, with its apparent kitchen and its pearl grey walls, the reception service stays convivial as it used to be. In the plates, the cuisine is Sicilian: it is full of fresh and sunny cooking. An artichoke salad, spaghetti with clam, a salmoriglio chicken (with parsley and spiced). If you're rather a gourmet, choose the gambas with cognac and orange, breadcrumbed swordfish, tuna with pistachio crust. At the time of dessert, the panna cotta (cooked cream) is queen and the cannolo (stuffed cone) is king. They are numerous.
